Description

This stately structure houses the University at Buffalo's Department of Biomedical Engineering, a field that combines the problem-solving approach of engineers with biological and medical know-how to develop solutions for improving human health. Here faculty and student researchers address such broad themes as imaging, tissue engineering, sensor materials and devices, and computation. Bonner also houses the Energy Systems Institute, along with specialized labs in applied lasers, materials processing and laser spectroscopy.
